MK Studios Plans V2 Updates for Lisbon, Helsinki and Keflavik Airports in 2024

MK Studios has recently unveiled their roadmap for 2024, highlighting an ambitious plan for airport development in Microsoft Flight Simulator. After a successful 2023, which saw the release of six new airports, the team is gearing up for an even more eventful year. In 2024, MK Studios is set to introduce five new airports, while also dedicating efforts to enhance some of their classic sceneries.

For the upcoming new releases, MK Studios is maintaining an air of mystery, strategically playing their cards close to the vest. However, they have revealed that the first two of these new airports, scheduled for launch in February and March, will be situated in the United States and Europe, respectively.

Dublin Airport also got a V2 upgrade in 2023.

MK Studios is also turning its attention to revitalizing their older airport models. Recognizing that some of their initial releases were developed with more limited tools, the team is now poised to upgrade these older airports to match the high standards of their more recent projects.

The focus for 2024 will be on the Version 2 upgrades of Keflavik, Lisbon, and Helsinki airports. These upgrades are expected to bring a fresh and more immersive experience to these popular destinations in the simulator.

2023 came to an end and proved to be a prolific year for MK Studio, who offered us the chance to greatly upgrade the MSFS sceneries of Malaga, Kangerlussuaq, MontrealPhiladelphia, Bologna, and Dublin V2. What does the team have in store for us in 2024? With the next release planned for February, we will soon find out!
