MK-STUDIOS has released Keflavík International Airport (BIKF) for Flight Simulator. Keflavík is the largest airport in Iceland and the main gateway to the country. If you’re looking to see Iceland’s extraordinary landscapes, this is the place to go!
Keflavík Airport is known for the sometimes harsh weather conditions, given its proximity to the arctic circle. It’s also used for airplane manufacturers to test their planes. It’s also an important stopover for transatlantic flights, especially as an emergency landing site for airplanes flying under the ETOPS system.
MK-STUDIOS completely recreated the airport according to the latest real-world changes with the ground layout and stands. You will find here the two operational runways, as well as an accurate terminal that even features a simplified interior model.
