Aerosoft issues massive CRJ update, includes flight model changes and numerous improvements

Aerosoft continues to improve its excellent CRJ 550/700 Series for Flight Simulator. The second update was released yesterday and was quickly followed by a hotfix that addresses a nasty new throttle bug. Therefore, the CRJ is now at v1.0.4.0.

This new update introduces a large number of improvements to the airplane, following the latest community feedback since the first update was issued a couple of months ago. These include changes to the flight model (flaps and slats), which have become necessary after the changes introduced with Sim Update IV, also released this past week.

Additionally, you will find many fixes, such as corrections to model animations, autopilot-related fixes, and much more. The list is long, so read about all the new stuff in the detailed changelog below.

Due to the number of changes, you need to download this update fresh from your Aerosoft shop account. The hotfix, though, is available through the ASUpdater. If you bought the CRJ from the Marketplace, just make sure to update it that way.
