VoxATC Previewed in MSFS, Will Offer Voice-Controlled ATC and Traffic Injection

VoxATC may be a familiar name to simmers more acquainted with FSX and P3D. It has been, and still is, an innovative ATC addon that integrates voice recognition technology, allowing simmers to communicate with air traffic control in the simulator using standard ATC phraseology. It seems MSFS simmers will not be left out, as we’re starting to see the first previews of VoxATC in action in Microsoft Flight Simulator!

VoxATC promises to be another groundbreaking ATC solution for MSFS, a growing category that highlights the need for such improvements in the base platform. FSHud, SayIntentions.Ai, and BeyondATC, just to name a few existing and upcoming products, show that there’s a lot of interest in the community for new and innovative solutions to dramatically improve the lackluster ATC system in MSFS.

VoxATC is notable not only for its use of voice recognition but also because it generates its own traffic and controllers, effectively working as an all-encompassing addon. In the preview shared this week online, we can see this in action. In one video, VoxATC can be seen managing and injecting traffic into MSFS, leveraging AIG’s aircraft models and offline traffic.

The second video shows the tool working from the pilot’s perspective during an approach and landing at LPPD Ponta Delgada Airport. This showcases how natural and responsive the system is.

It’s worth noting that this is still a work in progress, and there may be a number of improvements planned. Nonetheless, it is a promising new addon that is bound to start making waves in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for further updates soon; we’re tracking this one very closely!
