Golden Key Studio releases F-111 Aardvark for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Golden Key Studio (GKS) is back with a new military aircraft release for Microsoft Flight Simulator. After releasing the MiG-21Bis last year, the Ukrainian team is now bringing us a stunning rendition of the American F-111 Aardvark, an innovative aircraft that pioneered ground-breaking capabilities such as variable-sweep wings, afterburning turbofan engines, and automated terrain-following radar for low-level, high-speed flight.

GKS promises a very detailed recreation of the F-111 Aardvark for MSFS, with great graphics, an advanced and authentic flight model, detailed systems in a highly interactive cockpit, and more.

Some of the F-111’s distinctive features are in full display here, such as the dynamic sweep wings or the “dump & burn” fire show, adding to the visual spectacle of flying this legendary aircraft.

GKS doesn’t provide many details about the product, which is unfortunate. However, their impressive efforts with the MiG-21 should indicate the depth of the simulation we can expect to find in the F-111. It certainly looks quite striking both inside and out in the official images shared by the developer.

The GKS F-111 Aardvark is now available for purchase in the MSFS Marketplace for both PC and Xbox, priced at $39.99.

A comprehensive update is already planned for January and will introduce WRHAW and Attack radars, among other features. 13 liveries are included at launch, but more are also planned to be available with forthcoming updates.
