iniBuilds teases “The Ultimate Airliner Experience” for Microsoft Flight Simulator

iniBuilds has teased an exciting new addition to the Microsoft Flight Simulator ecosystem. The company, which has already released numerous products for MSFS, including the A310 and An-225, released a short teaser promising “The Ultimate Airliner Experience” coming soon to the simulator.

The teaser points to a specific date later this month for an official announcement: June 24th, which coincides with FlightSimExpo. It’s safe to say that the team will share more details during the event.

iniBuilds shared a single teaser image that started some speculation about what this new aircraft might be. The image appears to show a General Electric CF6 engine, a high-bypass turbofan engine that powers a wide variety of civilian airliners.

Since its introduction in the late 1960s, the CF6 has been used in several notable aircraft including the Airbus A300, A310, A330, Boeing 747, Boeing 767, and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11.

The A300 seems to be the most likely candidate.

The inclusion of the CF6 engine in the teaser has led to intense speculation about the aircraft that iniBuilds could be developing for MSFS. The possibilities are numerous given the wide variety of aircraft that the CF6 engine powers. However, some are definitely more likely than others.

The A300, for example, is one of the company’s flagship products on X-Plane and has already been confirmed that it will be coming to MSFS. The MD-11 is currently in development by TFDi, so it’s unlikely that another studio will overlap that effort with a similar undertaking. The B767, however, is up for grabs…

Stay tuned to MSFSAddons for further updates as we get closer to June 24th.
