Flying on Xbox and looking for a new airplane to try? This week’s Marketplace update brought a new choice for console simmers, in the shape of the BN-2A Trislander from Blackbox Simulation, an uncanny regional turboprop airliner that has been available on PC for a few weeks. It has now landed in the Marketplace, priced at $32.99.
There is only a couple of new aircraft this week in the Marketplace. Besides the Trislander, there’s also the single-seat FRF-104G Starfighter, the stunning jet from Sim Skunk Works. This one, however, is still PC-only for the moment.
For those searching for new things to see, especially our German readers looking to get a better representation of their home country in MSFS, FSDG has released its Landmarks of Germany pack for the Hesse and Thuringia regions. This package adds more than 1500 landmarks and other structures to the region, greatly expanding the range of VFR-friendly features for pilots flying in this area on either PC or Xbox.
FSDG features some additional prominent releases this week in the Marketplace, with also two new airports to show: DGAA Kotoka Intl and DTNH Enfidha-Hammamet airports. But there are also some stunning new airports from other notable development studios, such as Orbx’s KCRW West Virginia Airport and Flightbeam Studios’ superb rendition of NZWN Wellington Airport.
