FlightFX fully unveils their Citation X for MSFS, teases Bombardier Challenger 350

Merely a few days after spotting the FlightFX team aboard a Cessna Citation X, gathering data for their upcoming rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator, we’ve received more official confirmation from the team. Formerly under the Project Apx banner and now with a new name – the C750 -, FlightFX has officially confirmed that they are indeed working on the Citation X, fully unveiled through a series of stunning new screenshots shared on their Discord.

There’s no understating it: the FlightFX C750 looks absolutely phenomenal. The newly released images highlight the external model, showcasing the mighty Rolls-Royce AE 3007 engines and several modelling nuances. FlightFX’s prowess in this area is on full display here, rendering the C750 with impressive realism in the simulator.

In addition to the external visuals, a new image of the flight deck has also been shared, which might be even more striking. Previous teasers from FlightFX provided glimpses of this cockpit, but the latest image reveals it in all its splendor, featuring Honeywell Primus avionics – a first for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It’s undoubtedly a meticulously crafted environment that will delight business jet fans in MSFS.

It’s worth noting that FlightFX plans to release not only the Citation X but also the X+ model. While it remains unclear if these releases will occur simultaneously or at separate times, the latter seems more probable. There’s much to discover about this project, and FlightFX is expected to share further details in due course, so keep an eye out!

But that’s not all FlightFX has up their sleeve. In a surprising twist, Nick Sdoucos has teased another project currently in the pipeline. A raw image from a 3D scanner hints at the interior cabin of a Bombardier Challenger 350! While there’s no official confirmation yet, Nick indicates that an announcement is coming at a later stage.

As you can see, FlightFX continues to focus on the business jet segment within their aircraft projects for Microsoft Flight Simulator – a niche largely overlooked by other development studios.

As always, we’ll keep a close eye on FlightFX’s endeavors and upcoming reveals. Stay tuned for future updates and, in the meantime, enjoy the awesome new images of the C750!
