Salt Lake City Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

FeelThere has released a new addition to its growing portfolio of US airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This time, the team presents their rendition of KSLC Salt Lake City Airport, a joint military and public airport situated approximately 4 miles west of Downtown Salt Lake City, in Utah.

Ranked as the 21st busiest airport in the United States and the 70th busiest globally, KSLC has emerged as a significant hub in North America’s aviation network. In 2023, the airport handled a record passenger count of nearly 27 million, along with over 300 daily flights to 90 nonstop destinations worldwide.

The airport’s layout features three air carrier runways and a general aviation runway, supporting a wide range of aircraft operations. Its single terminal is divided into two concourses, connected by an underground tunnel, and houses a total of 68 gates. An ongoing expansion plan aims to add 26 more gates to Concourse B in phases starting in 2024, further enhancing the airport’s capacity.

Salt Lake City Airport serves as a hub for Delta Airlines and offers extensive flying opportunities for both commercial and general aviation pilots. Its strategic location makes it an excellent base for flights across the United States, including key destinations like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, as well as international flights to Europe and Asia.
