Flight Panels launches Stream Deck profile for Flysimware’s Cessna 414 AW Chancellor
UK start-up Flight Panels is set to enhance the simulation experience for fans of Flysimware’s excellent Cessna 414 AW Chancellor for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with the launch of a new Stream Deck profile that will enable owners of a Stream Deck device to control a vast array of functions on their C414.
Flysimware’s model of the Cessna 414 AW, available for both PC and Xbox, quickly became a favorite among the Microsoft Flight Simulator community. The digital version of the aircraft mimics the real Cessna 414’s impressive performance capabilities and features impeccable modeling, flight dynamics, system depth, and sounds. It’s easily one of the best GA airplanes currently available in the sim!
Building on the existing appeal of the Cessna 414 AW, Flight Panels’ new Stream Deck Series offers users a level of control that brings aircraft operations a bit closer to reality. This profile for the Stream Deck features over 200 buttons and provides access to 15 and 32 key profiles, compatible with Stream Deck XL, Classic, MK.2, and Stream Deck Mobile. This allows pilots to manage every aspect of the aircraft’s flight controls, circuit breakers, cabin, communications, and maintenance, as well as the Garmin GNS 530 and more.
Flight Panels is a new project, launched in March 2023, that has quickly established itself as a premier provider of meticulously crafted Stream Deck profiles for the MSFS community. “This release underpins our focus on user design, user experience, and product research, backed by regular product updates and industry-leading support“, says Richard Rawlinson, Senior Developer at Flight Panels.
The Cessna 414 AW Stream Deck Series joins Flight Panels’ portfolio as the company’s 12th product, following the Stream Deck Profiles for the FlyByWire A32NX, Fenix A320, Microsoft ATR 42/72-600, and PMDG 737. The company also hints at the imminent launch of two more products next month.
