First World Update for MSFS to focus on Japan

Microsoft announced the first World Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This free update, to be released on September 29th, will significantly improve the experience of flying in Japan. Six major cities will be updated with improved 3D photogrammetery, together with many landmarks like Mount Fuji and Himeji Castle.

Alongside the new scenery and city details, six new custom-modeled airports will also be introduced:

  • Nagasaki Airport
  • Kushiro Airport
  • Hachijo-Jima Airport
  • Suwanosejima Airport
  • Kerama Airport
  • Shimojshima Airport

Even more, new bush trips and landing challenges will also be released with this update.
