The Huey is coming to MSFS – Taog’s Hangar next helicopter previewed
Taog’s Hangar is preparing to launch a new addition to its flight simulation portfolio with a payware version of the Bell UH-1H Huey for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This development follows the success of Taog’s Hangar’s previous models – the well-received Alouette III and the SA315B Lama – with one of the most iconic helicopters in the world.
The news was broken by YouTube channel Fast Times Vero, which got the first exclusive images and preliminary details on Taog’s Hangar’s Huey for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
According to the channel, this rendition of the Huey will feature both military and civilian variants, which have been rigorously tested by actual Huey pilots to ensure an authentic flying experience. The developers have focused on a high-fidelity simulation that includes realistic flight dynamics.
The Huey from Taog’s Hangar is expected to offer extensive customization options. Future simmers can expect 30 to 40 different liveries and 35 additional attachments and visibility options. This approach is similar to that of the Alouette III from the same developer, which offers extensive customization options so that users can set up the aircraft to their preferred mission profile.
Taog’s Hangar aims to release the Huey model before the summer, initially for PC users. An Xbox version is planned to follow. While specific release dates are not yet confirmed, the development team is optimistic about meeting these targets.
