Aerosoft previews Frankfurt Airport for MSFS with spectacular teaser video

Just a few days after the release of the stunning Oslo-Gardermoen Airport, Aerosoft has once again ignited excitement within the flight simulation community with the release of a new teaser video for their upcoming Mega Airport Frankfurt for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The video, expertly crafted by Aviation Lads, showcases an impressive preview of both the interior and exterior of Frankfurt Airport (EDDF), one of Europe’s most significant aviation hubs.

At just under three minutes, the video offers a closer look into the meticulous detail the development team, led by the acclaimed Jo Erlend, is embedding into this expansive project.

The preview highlights the airport’s intricate design, from the sprawling tarmac to the bustling terminal interiors, adorned with photorealistic textures that at times seem indistinguishable from real life. The attention to detail extends to secondary objects within the scene, such as signage, lighting, and even the equipment scattered across the operational areas, all rendered with a high level of precision.

Frankfurt Airport will be another significant addition to the Mega Airport series by Aerosoft. As Germany’s busiest airport, and a major European hub, the addition of a highly-detailed rendition of Frankfurt Airport has been highly awaited by the community and represents a glaring gap that decidedly needs to be filled.

While the teaser has significantly raised expectations, Aerosoft has not yet announced a release date for Mega Airport Frankfurt. We will stay on the lookout, as this promises to be one of the most detailed and realistic airport sceneries available in the simulator. Stay tuned!
