Turtle Beach Releases the VelocityOne Flightdeck, A New HOTAS System for Flight Simulation

Turtle Beach continues to expand its hardware portfolio for flight simulation enthusiasts. After the VelocityOne Flight and the Flightstick, Turtle Beach has now launched the VelocityOne Flightdeck, a new HOTAS control system designed for flight simmers using Windows PCs.

One of the most differentiating features of the VelocityOne Flightdeck is the Flight Touch Display, a built-in display below the throttle that offers real-time simulation status indicators and allows for extensive customization, with the capability to assign up to 39 extra button functions.

Comprising two separate USB-connected devices, the VelocityOne Flightdeck delivers a comprehensive control setup. According to Turtle Beach, it’s engineered to support precise maneuvers in aerial combat scenarios as well as detailed navigation in space simulation environments, accommodating a broad spectrum of flight simulation activities.

At the core of the Flightdeck’s design are what TurtleBeach says are long-lasting and precise Hall-Effect controls. These controls use non-contact sensors for the main movement inputs on the stick and throttle, aiming to provide users with high precision and reliable performance over time.

The system also features adjustable throttle detents, enabling users to customize the haptic feedback for various throttle positions, such as reverse thrust, afterburner, or star drive actuations.

Additionally, the VelocityOne Flightdeck includes a customizable OLED Head-Up Display, offering access to diagnostics and performance adjustments. This full-color HUD facilitates easy adjustments to the setup.

The VelocityOne Flightdeck is available now for $399.99 directly via Turtle Beach and other stores such as FlightsimWebshop.
