Turtle Beach unveils the VelocityOne Flightstick for Xbox and PC

Turtle Beach continues to expand its product portfolio for the flight simulation market. Last month they came out with the announcement of the VelocityOne Stand and Rudder Pedals (due to be out soon) and, this week, Turtle Beach is doubling down on their efforts with the unveiling of the VelocityOne Flightstick for Xbox and Windows PCs.

Turtle Beach is quickly filling all the hardware needs flight simmers might have. The VelocityOne Flight universal control system already launched last year for those who prefer a yoke, and now it’s time for fans of the stick to have their own Turtle Beach controller. It also seems to be a very complete product with plenty of features for both civilian and military pilots!

The VelocityOne Flightstick offers a comprehensive set of features that are not usually seen in this type of equipment. Turtle Beach promises accurate sensors that power the 8 high-precision axes. There’s even a small wheel that allows precise trim adjustments on the aircraft you’re flying.

The top of the Flightstick includes a series of controls, like the aforementioned trim wheel, but also a HAT switch, a tiny trackpad that should enable precise aiming, and a dedicated OLED display that will present useful information to virtual pilots.

This really looks like a very capable and versatile piece of hardware, with a vast array of controls and customizability options. It might seem like this will cost a serious amount of money… but it won’t! The VelocityOne Flightstick is now available for €109,00, which isn’t cheap, mind you, but seems to be quite interesting given the specs!
