As happens nearly every week, the Marketplace in Microsoft Flight Simulator was updated with a selection of new addons. This time, however, we got a very mild update, with no new aircraft and just a few options in the other categories.
We may not have new airplanes to get in the Marketplace this week, but there’s a new vehicle that some may find amusing: a boat! Rodrigo Moraes (the same developer behind the WTC Twin Towers scenery that also came out this week) has launched a new ship in his growing collection of maritime vessels for MSFS. The Sea Ray L510 Fly is a controllable boat with similar features to that of a flyable airplane (gauges, a tablet, animations, and so on), but it’s meant to travel in the seas of Microsoft Flight Simulator. It’s contradictory, we know… but to each their own!
In the other product categories, you will find new liveries for the A320 and 787, a new mission pack dedicated to Canada, and the usual scenery enhancements and airports.
This is not the most exciting Marketplace update we’ve ever got, but rest assured that the stream of new releases will grow dramatically very soon, with the impending release of the 40th Anniversary Edition and the bunch of new aircraft coming with it!
Outside the Marketplace, there’s always something new coming out! Check, for example, this week’s release of the Eurofighter Typhoon or Syracuse Airport.
