FSDG releases Landmarks of Germany: Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for MSFS
Flight Sim Development Group (FSDG) has released the latest addition to their “Landmarks of Germany” series for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This time, the team invites virtual pilots to explore the northeastern federal state of Germany, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which with this landmarks pack receives an unprecedented level of detail especially aimed at VFR pilots.
The Landmarks of Germany series from FSDG is a treasure trove for VFR pilots flying in Germany. This latest regional pack offers more than 1,000 meticulously crafted objects that bring the region’s famous and prominent landmarks to life. From castles and bridges to television and radio towers, every object is placed in its exact real-world location, creating an immersive and authentic flying experience.
Pilots can expect to navigate using a diverse array of landmarks. The pack features an extensive list of structures, including water towers, radar towers, chimneys, antennas, and solar parks. Notably, the pack includes a significant number of lighthouses, a key navigational aid and a hallmark of the region’s maritime heritage.
FSDG’s Landmarks of Germany series aims to cover all federal states of Germany, with Mecklenburg-Vorpommern marking the latest release. Pilots can look forward to future releases covering the remaining states, each promising to deliver the same level of detail and accuracy. So far, the team has launched packs dedicated to the regions of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Hesse & Thuringia, Lower Saxony & Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein & Hamburg.
