Who doesn’t love a nice selection of new MSFS Addons to check out? As usual, the in-sim Marketplace got updated this week with a small list of new downloadable content for both PC and Xbox. It’s not a lot of stuff, but there are some really good new products that definitely deserve a good look!

The main release in the Marketplace this week has to be World Update 11: Canada, which launched with the aim to bring the sprawling landscapes of this huge country up to a higher standard in MSFS.

The Canada World Update adds dozens of custom POIs, 5 handcrafted airports, tons of improvements to satellite imagery, new photogrammetry cities, and much more! As with every World Update, this one is available for free download in the MSFS Marketplace.

To go along with the Canada update, MS/Asobo also released a new Local Legend aircraft, the Cessna 195 Businessliner. Developed in partnership with Carenado, this new plane brings Cessna’s art-deco, radial-engined gem to the beautiful world of Microsoft Flight Simulator. It’s hard to see the intimate connection between Canada and the C195… but at least you can explore the country with style with this classic bird.

As for other releases, the list isn’t long… there are a few mission packs, new scenery enhancements (Vessels: The Hawaiian Islands is a particularly noteworthy one), and three new airports: one of them is CYEG Edmonton Airport, from FSimStudios, which comes perfectly timed with the release of the Canada World Update.

Finally, to celebrate the release of the new World Update, Microsoft is running a special sale featuring content from Canada. For six days starting on September 29th, enjoy discounts of up to 66% on a list of content that includes plenty of airports, the Aerosoft Twin Otter, the SimWorks Studios Zenith CH701 STOL, and more.
