The A2A Comanche 250 gets its first update with a long list of improvements and fixes

Just over a week after releasing the superb Comanche 250 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the whizzes at A2A Simulations have dropped the first significant patch for the package. Update 1.1 is a feast of fixes and improvements that address the community’s valuable feedback from the past week.
The new version includes a wide variety of changes, which you can check out in full below, but we’ve noticed a few that may be of particular interest. For example, this update bolsters compatibility with third-party utilities such as FSEconomy and OnAir (hopefully NeoFly too), which had trouble detecting engine starts and shutdowns with the Comanche and therefore couldn’t track the airplane to the completion of a mission.
Simmers should also notice improved hardware switch compatibility for controls such as the autopilot, battery switch, and starter. My Honeycomb Alpha, for example, couldn’t activate the battery switch with its corresponding controller, but that now seems fixed!

Adjustments to the flight model are also part of the update, along with the addition of engine cooldown sounds and engine pulses at very low RPMs. These subtle details might not seem ground-breaking, but they will surely add another layer of immersion and realism that are the hallmark of this aircraft!
To get the patch, simmers must simply redownload the installer from their account on the A2A Simulations website. The update process is straightforward, with no need to uninstall the previous version, and, importantly, all accumulated airframe or engine hours will be preserved.
