WF Scenery Studio releases stunning rendition of Beijing Capital International Airport

One of the busiest airports in the world gets an impressive re-creation in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

WF Scenery Studio, a development team specialized in the creation of high-quality Chinese airports for Flight Simulator, has released one of their most impressive projects yet for MSFS: Beijing Capital International Airport (ZBAA).

Beijing Capital International Airport is one of the two major airports serving Beijing, the capital city of China. It’s also one of the world’s busiest airports, surpassing 100 million served passengers in the years before the pandemic. As you can imagine, it’s a sprawling infrastructure that handles massive levels of traffic, connecting Beijing to the rest of the country and the whole world.

Asian simmers are sometimes left behind a little in terms of the accuracy and realism of the scenery in that part of the world, so it’s always great to see talented developers devoting some time to change this. WF Scenery Studio has played an important role in this area, with a series of highly-detailed major airports in China, such as Hong Kong International Airport, and now also with Beijing Capital International Airport.

This time, WF Scenery Studio continues with their series of Chinese airports with ZBAA, and it seems we’re getting another impressively detailed rendition of a major airport for MSFS. The developers shared a very interesting trailer video for this product, showing how the airport looks during the 4 seasons of the year.

What we can see is a generally beautiful airport, which makes use of detailed 3D modeling and textures, accurate ground markings, and even some cool animations such as the moving train. The video makes a good case for this product, showing the scenery across many dynamic scenes. It should be a nice challenge to arrive at ZBAA after a long-haul flight!

Beijing Capital International Airport for MSFS by WF Scenery Studio is available now through Simmarket, priced at €23.90.

Features:

  • PBR Textures
  • Animated Jetways.
  • Dynamic Lights
  • Manually planed viecles in airport
  • Real Ground Markings
  • Animated Airport Train
