Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH) released by WF Scenery Studio

WF Scenery Studio has released the massive Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH) for Flight Simulator. VHHH is one the largest and busiest airports in the world, both in terms of passengers and cargo, serving over 180 cities across the world.

VHHH has been operating since 1998, replacing the legendary Kai Tak Airport. Built on reclaimed land on the island of Chek Lap Kok, it quickly became a very important regional and global hub for passenger and cargo traffic. Many of the world’s largest airlines fly here, and VHHH is a primary or major hub for Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Air India, UPS and more.

Asia is in desperate need of some love in MSFS, so it’s good to see a developer taking matters into hands and work on such an important location for Asia’s aviation. WF Scenery Studios creates very good airports, and VHHH should be no exception. The developers used PBR textures throughout their work, taking advantage of the latest eye-candy capabilities that Flight Simulator provides. Here you will also find animated jetways, dynamic night lighting, and accurate ground markings.

For that additional level of realism, the developers also recreated the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, the recently inaugurated bridge-tunnel system that is the largest sea-crossing structure in the world.
