Mount Rushmore – FREE

Note: since the release of World Update 2: USA, the default scenery on Mount Rushmore is greatly improved, and this freeware mod may not be necessary

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is one of the most famous American landmarks, an iconic image that is familiar for millions all over the world.

Centered on a colossal sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills in Keystone, South Dakota, this sculpture features the 60-foot (18 m) heads of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.

Microsoft Flight Simulator sadly doesn’t include a proper version of this landmark, and features only what appears to be a common rocky hill. Fortunately, BluntSmokeTrauma recreated the sculpture in great detail, and released it for free foral of us to enjoy. And it’s a sight to behold!
