iniBuilds showcases A300-600 for Microsoft Flight Simulator at FSExpo

iniBuilds, the developer well known for its high-quality aircraft and scenery for both MSFS and X-Plane, has showcased its upcoming Airbus A300-600 for MSFS at FSExpo in Houston, Texas. This is the “Ultimate Airliner Experience” teased by iniBuilds earlier this month.

Originally released on X-Plane as iniBuilds’ flagship product, this iconic wide-body airliner made its first flight in 1983, with 313 of the variant having been built. It remains in service with some operators today, including FedEx and UPS.

For the MSFS release, the exterior body has been completely re-created using a combination of 8K and 4K PBR textures.

iniBuilds says the A300-600 for MSFS will be a “true-to-life complex airliner”, with “comprehensive” system simulation, a realistic flight model, full ACARS/CPDLC simulation, Navigraph and SimBrief integration, and a custom WWise sound set including authentic sound recordings from the real aircraft.

The freighter A300-600 will be released initially, followed later by a passenger version featuring a fully modelled cabin.

iniBuilds also released footage of the A300-600, showing a highly detailed cockpit and interior, impressive lighting effects, and a range of cargo pallets and objects.

No release date was shared for aircraft.
