The floodgates may be about to open in the MSFS Marketplace, as the MSFS team takes measures to alleviate the large backlog awaiting for release. In the meantime, the weekly Marketplace updates continue to be paltry in the number of new products released, but there’s always something interesting coming, and this week is no exception!
There are only ten new releases in the Marketplace, but they include some truly special products. One of them is Got Friends’ first helicopter, the Mini-500, which was recently launched for PC through the developer’s website. It’s an excellent rendition of this tiny helicopter that simmers can now enjoy on both PC and Xbox.
Another interesting addition to the Marketplace is the Venom DH-112 from SwissMilSim, a challenging and rewarding aircraft that, while not sporting a state-of-the-art external model, is very entertaining to fly. Read our review here to get an idea of what this bird is capable of.
In addition to the new aircraft, the Marketplace update has also added several new airports to the simulation, including Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. This airport is one of the busiest in the United States and serves as a hub for several major airlines. MSFS users can now experience the thrill of landing and taking off from this iconic airport, developed for the simulator by Drzewiecki Design. iniBuilds also has two new airports in the Marketplace: KDTW and NFFN.
Other notable additions to the Marketplace update include new liveries, SoFly’s Global Landings: Australia and New Zealand, and some very cool aircraft carriers from IndiaFoxtEcho and Miltech Simulations!
Even if you’re not interested in getting any of these new add-ons, there’s an extensive number of updates to existing products, so make sure to check your Content Manager for new versions of your previous purchases!
