iniScene releases Detroit Metro Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator

iniScene has just released a big new airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Announced just a couple of weeks ago, KDTW Detroit Metro Airport is now available for purchase!
KDTW builds upon previous releases from iniScene, while also capitalizing on the popularity of the Airbus A310 that just launched for free with the 40th Anniversary Edition of MSFS. Based on feedback from previous releases, iniScene is improving some of the features of this new airport, in order to provide a better experience for users. This includes proper jetway connections to the terminal, along with custom ground services equipment and taxi signs, high-resolution textures, and more.
Furthermore, iniScene also implemented a few cool features in this package, such as an animated train and fountain, de-icing statistics related to GSE, and more. Those who don’t wish to see these features or would prefer a lighter scenery on the system will be happy to know that iniManager enables users to set some scenery customization options, such as allowing static aircraft and people or selecting between SD/HD textures.

The customization options are certainly a welcome feature that shows iniScene’s attention to customer requests. KDTW users will appreciate the flexibility to tailor the scenery based on their existing systems, either pushing details to the max or toning things down for a smoother experience.
We had the chance to try iniScene’s KDTW before the release and discovered a very impressive scenery overall. KDTW is a sprawling airport with a lot to see and iniScene’s rendition perfectly transmits that feeling.
There’s a lot to impress you in this scenery. The ground textures and markings are very crisp, the terminal interiors are filled with realistic details like people and logos/advertisements, and there’s even an animated train moving through the terminal! Especially cool is the animated de-icing equipment!
At night the scenery comes to life with very realistic lighting throughout the whole area, which perfectly showcases the way the scenery reacts in different atmospheric conditions. The same applies in snowy weather, where KDTW displays very realistic textures in the apron!
iniScene’s KDTW Detroit Metro Airport is another excellent base for airliners pilots and it’s now available through the iniBuilds store. Make sure to check the customization options in iniManager after installing the product!
