Top Mach Studios, known for their renditions of the secretive F-22 and B-2, has been steadily building anticipation for their upcoming T-7A Red Hawk. This next-generation jet trainer, developed by Boeing and Saab for the United States Air Force, has been under development by the studio for nearly two years, and recent updates suggest its release may be around the corner.

This week, Top Mach Studios dropped an important update: a Facebook post with detailed pre-release screenshots of the T-7A Red Hawk. These images show off the aircraft in previously unseen detail, from the cockpit to the landing gear bay.

Top Mach Studios first announced the T-7A Red Hawk in March 2023. The promise of a next-gen jet trainer in Microsoft Flight Simulator is indeed exciting. The Red Hawk isn’t just any trainer—it’s Boeing and Saab’s brainchild, designed to prep the next generation of fighter pilots.

Since then, updates have been few and far between. But fast forward to now, and we’re starting to see videos, screenshots, and plenty of promise. However, we’re still waiting for that elusive release date.

From what’s been teased, the T-7A Red Hawk looks like it’ll be worth the wait. The modeling and texturing are looking great inside and out, and Top Mach Studios has a solid track record with military aircraft, so it’s reasonable to expect something impressive here, too.

Top Mach Studios says that the T-7A is “coming soon”. We’ve seen “coming soon” turn into “coming eventually” more times than we’d like to admit, but these developers haven’t typically gone too far down that rabbit hole before. Here’s hoping “soon” actually means we won’t have to wait long this time. As always, we’ll keep you posted!
