LSZR is located in Altenrhein, Switzerland, and is a small regional in a strategic position near Lake Constance. The airport features a single asphalt runway (10/28), measuring 1,500 meters (4,921 feet) in length, capable of accommodating small to medium-sized aircraft.

The airport serves as the base for People’s airline, which operates scheduled services primarily to Vienna, alongside seasonal charter flights to popular European destinations.
