BeyondATC launches in Early Access for Microsoft Flight Simulator

The highly anticipated air traffic control add-on, BeyondATC, has officially launched in early access for Microsoft Flight Simulator, promising a transformative experience for simmers looking to enhance the ATC experience in the simulator.

Developed with the help of cutting-edge AI technology, BeyondATC introduces ultra-realistic ATC interactions with over 250 AI voices, featuring regional accents from around the globe. This system currently supports IFR flight modes (VFR coming at a later stage), integrating seamlessly with SimBrief for comprehensive flight planning and operations. The early access release includes full IFR capabilities for jetliners and general aviation across most of the world.

Key features of BeyondATC include dynamic runway and SID/STAR selection based on wind conditions, alongside capabilities for pilot reports, direct-to routing, and altitude adjustments. It also supports ILS and visual approaches determined by weather, offers navigation vectors, and maintains a growing database of custom user data for airport-specific Standard Operating Procedures.

BeyondATC in Early Access means that not all of the product’s planned features are already finished. In fact, BeyondATC is not just about communication; it also aims to control all AI traffic within the simulator, promising a future where AI traffic behaves with realistic operational logic. BeyondATC offers its core service at $29.99, a one-time purchase that includes a free Basic Voice Model providing quality voice outputs for traffic and controllers. It also features unlimited push-to-talk functionality at no additional cost.

The optional Premium Voice Model delivers enhanced realism with a variety of voices and accents, priced on a cost-per-character basis. The initial purchase grants 50,000 free characters for the Premium model, with additional character bundles available for purchase.
