Double T releases Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Developer Double T has released its second North American airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Following the launch of KSMF Sacramento Airport earlier this year, Double T has now unveiled a rendition of Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (KPHF), located in the US state of Virginia.

KPHF serves the Hampton Roads area and is known for its single-passenger terminal and its role in connecting the region to numerous domestic destinations. Spanning over 1,800 acres, this is an important airport in the area, despite seeing dwindling passenger numbers over the past decade.

Double T’s digital rendition of this KPHF tries to capture this essence and transform it into a high-fidelity scenery for MSFS. The airport features hand-made and detailed PBR ground markings and textures that reflect the most recent airport situation.
