MSFS Marketplace gets a big update, 4 new airplanes added for PC and Xbox

The in-sim Marketplace in Microsoft Flight Simulator got a big update today, with the addition of a bigger-than-usual list of new addons for PC and Xbox. Console simmers, in particular, often complain about the lack of new airplanes, but this time they are in luck: they now have 4 new models to fly, and they are all quite different!

There’s one new aircraft this week that is launching in MSFS for the first time. The Embraer 190/195 Series, from Virtualcol, is part of the E-Jets family, a series of popular regional jets. Virtualcol already had the 170/175 Series available in MSFS, so going for the longer variants too is a logical step for the team.

As for the other three new airplanes in the Marketplace, they have all been available for some time in third-party stores (PC versions only). These are the FreedomFox and Fox 2, by //42, the Grumman JRF-6 Goose, by Big Radials, and the Morane D-3801, developed by Swissmilsim. With their arrival this week in the Marketplace, these great new airplanes also become available to enjoy on the Xbox Series S|X.

Other notable releases in the Marketplace are Orbx’s Great Britain Central, which adds more than 500 landmarks between Liverpool and Newcastle, a couple of mission packs from Perfect Flight, and even a livery pack for the Cessna Grand Caravan, which might prove to be especially interesting for Xbox flyers.

In terms of airports, there’s a long list of new products, especially coming from developer Dominic Design Team, with a series of interesting locations in Asia.
