SoFly is back to Flight Simulator with a brand new product. Landing Challenge Pro, coming soon to MSFS, is a landing challenge pack that includes almost 30 unique missions which will test your skills in a variety of scenarios.
This is will be SoFly’s third product for MSFS, after the ‘Guide to Flight Simulator‘, a regularly updated document with useful information about MSFS and its features, and ‘Weather Preset Pro‘, a collection of dozens of weather presets that you can quickly load into your flights for instant meteorological gratification.
Now, with Landing Challenge Pro, SoFly is aiming to provide Flight Simulator enthusiasts with a series of challenges that will take you around the world for difficult landings in a wide variety of conditions. From going up against short runways to high-altitude approaches, landing on beaches, or even with engine failures.
We have seen other developers releasing addons that provide new landing challenges within the simulator, similarly to the default ones included in the base game. However, SoFly seems to have more ambitious plans, increasing the value of its product with some unique features, such as providing feedback after each landing in order to improve future attempts, or the possibility to advance through three difficulty levels. It’s unclear how this will be implemented in the sim, but it’s interesting to see that the developers are looking to giving us more than just a list of challenging airports to land on.
The variety of challenges will also be augmented by the different aircraft types to try and the weather conditions in each location. SoFly is building on their previous experience with Weather Preset Pro to include new custom-made weather scenarios for hurricanes, sandstorms, blizzards, and more.
Landing Challenge Pro is coming soon to MSFS, with pricing already known: £5.49 / €7.99 / $8.95 plus applicable tax. Stay tuned for further news by the time this releases!
