Latest preview of Aerosoft’s Oslo-Gardermoen Airport for MSFS reveals stunning progress

Anticipation continues to build around Jo Erlend’s latest airport project for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer, one of the most respected in the community for his ultra-realistic and exceptionally detailed sceneries, is currently working on Oslo Gardermoen Airport (ENGM), the busiest airport in Norway and one of the main hubs in the Nordic countries.

Erlend’s exceptional attention to detail, fully displayed in Aerosoft’s Brussels Airport for MSFS, is once again being put to good use at a major European airport. Oslo Gardermoen has been under development for quite some time, and the developer is known for not rushing his projects, focusing instead on perfecting his sceneries.

However, we were recently treated to a fresh batch of striking preview images that offer a closer look at what to expect from this highly anticipated addition to the simulator.

According to the developer, the project is currently in the hands of an initial group of testers who are providing feedback on potential improvements and identifying any missing elements.

“At the moment, there’s still some back and forth with the initial group of testers, getting feedback on what they feel is still missing or could be improved. Once all that’s sorted and the final pieces are in place, it’ll be opened up to a larger group to find any remaining bugs that need to be resolved,” the developer stated on the Aerosoft forums.

Specific details about the release date remain under wraps, but there’s no doubt that this rendition of ENGM is poised to challenge the existing third-party offerings from Orbx and JustSim.

As it’s still currently under development and testing, we shouldn’t expect a release soon, but as always, we’ll let you know once this project gets closer to completion. Stay tuned!
