RDPresets releases Faro Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator

RDPresets has a new airport scenery for MSFS that comes just in time for the busy summer holiday schedule in Southern Europe. Faro International Airport (LPFR), in Portugal, is the main gateway to the country’s super-popular sunny southern coast and is now finally rendered in MSFS in the level of detail it deserves!

LPFR Faro International Airport is Portugal’s third busiest airport, after Lisbon and Porto. The airport serves as a key connection point for millions of passengers, handling over 8 million travelers and 55,600 flights in 2022 alone. From its opening in 1965 and to this day, Faro Airport operates from a single runway, efficiently managing the flow of aircraft from leading airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet. These major operators offer routes to several popular destinations, including Manchester, Madrid, Amsterdam, and London Southend.

RDPresets’ Faro Airport scenery offers an impressive level of detail, continuing with the team’s commitment to realism and quality in their creations for MSFS. This add-on showcases the airport in all its glory, complete with custom modelling and PBR textures, providing a lifelike representation that is sure to captivate simmers.

The attention to detail extends beyond the exterior, with a full custom 3D interior, complete with 3D passengers, creating a vibrant and bustling airport environment. More than 1,000 unique clutter objects scattered on the apron and surrounding area further add to the immersive experience.

For those keen on functionality, this rendition of LPFR features a realistic and operational Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS). Other features include custom ground textures that accurately depict real-life asphalt differences, optimized performance, accurate night lighting, and ground traffic.

Faro Airport is currently available for purchase for €19.99.
