KMEM Memphis International Airport is now out for Microsoft Flight Simulator

BMWorld and AmSim have released today a new airport in the United States. Memphis International Airport, in Tennessee, is one of the busiest cargo airports in the world and is now ready for you to use in MSFS as a FedEx hub, hauling cargo all over the world!

FedEx may dominate operations at KMEM with cargo flights, but this airport also serves commercial passenger traffic in the Memphis area. With an average of 4 million passengers served each year, it’s not exactly a big airport in terms of passenger numbers. However, with almost four and a half million tonnes of handled cargo, it more than makes up for the low number of passengers with a massive amount of shipping boxes!

KMEM is also a military base. It’s home to the 164th Airlift Wing of the Tennessee Air National Guard, which operates C-17 Globemaster III transport aircraft. The same airplane being developed for MSFS by DC Designs!

AmSim and BMWorld have partnered to bring a detailed rendition of Memphis Airport for MSFS, similarly to what they’ve already done with KSEA. The two talented developers have worked to recreate the airport inside and out, adding realistic buildings with custom textures, terminal interiors, animated jetways, parallax windows, and more. It’s also fully compatible with FSLTL.

KMEM Memphis International Airport is now out for Microsoft Flight Simulator, priced at $22.86 through Orbx Direct.

Main Features:

  • Animated Jetways
  • Custom ground markings
  • High-resolution custom ground textures, dirt and other details
