ClearPropStudios releases 6 Bavarian Airfields for MSFS

ClearPropStudios arrived in Microsoft Flight Simulator last September, with the release of Moosburg auf der Kippe airfield, in the German region of Bavaria. That was the first of a series of 6 airfields that were planned for this region, and they are all now available in a high-quality form, packed in a very sweet bundle.

Our dear German readers (and they are many!) will appreciate this collection of 6 gorgeous little airfields in southern Bavaria, but this can be appreciated by anyone who likes small and quirky little airfields. ClearPropStudios claims to have built them with extreme attention to detail in a true 1:1 replica of the real-world scenery.

The 6 airfields included in this package are as follows:

  • EDPI Moosburg – small forest airfield with grass runway northeast of Munich
  • EDMJ Jesenwang – idyllic asphalt airfield with the shortest runway in Germany
  • EDNH Bad Wörishofen – idyllic grass airfield between Landsberg and Tannheim
  • EDMT Tannheim – the legendary grass field, known from the former “Tannkosh” flying events
  • EDMK Kempten – the highest GA grass airfield in Germany
  • EDNL Leutkirch Unterzeil – customs airfield between Memmingen and Kempten

Germany is heaven for general aviation enthusiasts, an activity made significantly more interesting in MSFS after the release of World Update VI, which saw the introduction of many scenery improvements and landmarks across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. ClearPropStudios is building a lot on top of that, since this package also contains hundreds of additional POI’s, which are perfect for VFR flying or just for some nice sightseeing tours.

With these 6 new bespoke airfields from ClearPropStudios, you have a great new opportunity to explore this region knowing there will always be a nice home to go back to. The creators of this product are also pilots themselves, so they focused on bringing as much authenticity to their product as possible.
