Tailstrike Designs releases Milan Bergamo Airport for MSFS

Pilots flying around northern Italy have a new high-quality airport to use for operations. Milan’s Bergamo Airport (LIME), the third busiest in Italy, is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator, courtesy of Tailstrike Designs.

Tailstrike Designs already has an Italian airport in its portfolio for MSFS, Reggio Calabria Airport, but now the developers are releasing a significantly more complex scenery for one of the main airports serving the city and region of Milan.

Bergamo Airport is both an important passenger and cargo gateway, although the latter suffered a significant setback earlier this year after DHL moved its operations to Malpensa Airport, 100km away.

Tailstrike Designs promises an accurate depiction of this airport that matches the current 2021 layout. The interior of the terminal has also been modeled and includes 3D people for added immersion. Then there are other nice additions that we are used to seeing from good-quality airports, such as animated jetways, PBR textures, and improved aerial imagery throughout.

Being located in the north of Italy, Bergamo Airport may be a good location to set out on some flights to explore the newly updated regions of Switzerland, Austria and Germany, not too far off.

Bergamo Airport (LIME) is now available from Contrail and will set you back around 19€.
