Orbx releases free Iceland Mesh, just in time for the Nordics update

Orbx has a surprise for everyone today looking to finally enjoy some flights in Iceland during the weekend. After this week’s release of World Update V dedicated to the Nordic countries, the Australian studio has now launched a new product that aims to improve elevation data for Iceland. Iceland Mesh, now available for free, is a great compliment to the Nordics update!

Iceland Mesh was created with new and improved elevation data, and is totally self-contained, meaning no changes have been made to the default files. Orbx promises that there’s no noticeable performance impact.

Iceland Mesh follows on the recently released NZ Mesh, which brought the same level of improvements to the territory of New Zealand. This time, though, Orbx is offering the product for free, in celebration of the Nordics update. A very generous offer from the developers!
