Pensacola International Airport is out for MSFS, by DominicDesignTeam

Northern Florida awaits you in this bespoke new American airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

DominicDesignTeam has released a new airport in the United States for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Following the release of Indianapolis Airport earlier this summer, DominicDesignTeam has now turned to Pensacola, in Florida, to re-create the city’s airport: KPNS.

Pensacola International Airport is the second busiest airport in northern Florida in terms of passengers, behind Jacksonville Airport. It serves around 2 million passengers per year, who travel between Pensacola and other American cities such as Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte, and Houston. Despite its name, KPNS has no scheduled international services, although international charter flights can often be seen.

Pensacola Airport is the newest airport from DominicDesignTeam, who rendered this location with an appreciable level of detail. Realistic 3D buildings and structures with PBR textures ensure that KPNS is more accurately represented in MSFS when compared to the default scenery. As the developer has done with previous projects, Pensacola also sports an impressively-detailed terminal interior.

On the exterior, simmers will find authentic ground markings in the apron, taxiways, and runways, and also custom jetways. Some animations have also been added to increase the levels of realism and immersion, such as moving passengers and buses.

Pensacola International Airport is another welcome and very nice upgrade to a smaller airport in the United States, and it’s now available through Simmarket, priced at around $20.00.
