Known for their previous Cessna Citation X and Honda Jet, FlightFX just announced another exciting new business jet. You might remember their teaser banner that was spread around the web, enjoying people “guessing” what it was. No, it wasn’t any of the previously announced projects, it wasn’t a fighter jet either. It was a complete surprise for many. A well kept secret, the project took several years to come to fruition, but here it is, finally announced: the Hawker 800XP.
You might not know it, but the Hawker 800XP was a success during its production time, even though it faced a lot of turbulence from the companies developing and building it. FlightFX did their best job replicating this aircraft, even having pilots chime in with their flight experience to fine-tune it.
The plane features a complete flight deck with its distinct glass cockpit with a complete FMS, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, and pressurization systems, real-world performance data, custom flight dynamics, total aircraft persistence, a detailed Electronic Flight Bag, featuring charts, flight plan integration and even systems schematics (a new feature for the Flight FX fleet) and an immersive soundscape recorded from the real aircraft, created by the famous “sound wizard”, Boris Audio Works. And of course it has a complete cabin to carry those distinguished passengers.

You won’t have to wait too long for this new project either. The FlightFX Hawker 800XP will become available today, September 8th, exclusively on the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Marketplace. We already have an in-depth review of the aircraft, which you can read in full here.
