With the FSLTL situation dominating AI traffic discussions over the past week, Alpha India Group quietly published a 2026 roadmap on their website that deserves some attention. The timing isn’t coincidental, but for anyone reassessing their traffic setup right now, the content is directly relevant.
The first thing AIG addresses is that the FR24 API shutdown, which ended FSLTL’s live injection this week, has no effect on AIG whatsoever. The team states clearly that their data comes from paid subscription providers, not the free FR24 API that FSLTL relied on. Flightplan updates continue as normal.
On the development side, the roadmap covers four areas.
OCI Basepack
This is the one that will make the biggest practical difference for new users. For the first time, AIG will offer a single ZIP download containing a full global preset, the same content currently available through the Global Preset option in the One-Click Installer. The idea is straightforward: download, drop into AI Manager, and you’re up and running without having to navigate the OCI setup from scratch.
AIG says the basepack will be updated twice a year following each season change. Existing users are encouraged to keep using the internal AIM updater to avoid re-downloading content they already have.
Hopefully, this will mean that you’ll no longer have to wait many hours for the initial setup process to complete.
AIGFleet
This one is aimed at users running OCI-installed content with third-party injectors. Currently, model and livery updates are tied to flightplan updates, which can take a year or more to cycle through. AIGFleet will decouple the two, allowing newer airline liveries and aircraft types to be pushed independently of the flightplan schedule. In practice it means the AIG library should feel more current, with newer repaints arriving faster without waiting for a full schedule refresh.
GroundOps expansion
Traffic Controller users already have GroundOps for AI aircraft. AIG says the plan is to extend this gradually to the user’s own aircraft, starting with General Aviation VIP services and eventually covering commercial airliners. The team notes this will rely on default in-game services, so it will have its limits, but it’s a welcome step toward a more complete ground experience.
Model updates
The community has been active in contributing lighting improvements, and AIG says those will be included in an upcoming content update. Beyond lighting, further model upgrades are planned. On the LOD issue that has been a known frustration for some users, Asobo has confirmed it’s a simulator-side problem and provided some potential workarounds, which AIG says they’re currently evaluating.
