FlightFX shares first avionics WIP shots of the Bombardier Challenger 350 for MSFS

The Pro Line 21 Advanced is now back in focus, with first cockpit screenshots showing the Collins glass suite taking shape inside the sim.

FlightFX has shared the first work-in-progress shots of the avionics for their Bombardier Challenger 350, confirming that development on that front is moving again. The update came directly from the team on their Discord, where developer Nick Sdoucos shared the screenshots.

lightFX first hinted at the Challenger 350 back in 2024 with a raw 3D scanner image of the cabin interior, and last April we covered a fresh batch of visuals focused on the cabin and cockpit model. What’s new today is the first look at the avionics actually running inside the sim.

The screenshots show a Collins Pro Line 21 Advanced glass cockpit layout, the real-world system fitted to the Challenger 350, with multiple large displays, a weather radar page with full colour precipitation rendering, and FMS and systems data across the panel. Nick is clear that nothing here is final, including the 3D model or the avionics themselves, but the direction is visible.

The Pro Line 21 Advanced is a capable and complex avionics suite, and FlightFX describes implementing it as “not so straightforward.” Given how they handled the custom Honeywell Primus 2000 in their Citation X, that’s a promising sign for the level of depth they’re aiming for.

No release date has been offered, and the developer says as much directly. As always, we’ll keep an eye on further updates!
