Free aircraft, a new Got Friends reward, and 25% off memberships: the Captain’s Club April update

The Captain's Club starts its second month with a free Carenado aircraft for three lucky members, a new eVTOL reward for everyone, and a limited-time discount on new memberships.
by Vasco Ferreira

A month ago, we launched the Captain’s Club with a simple promise: support our daily coverage of the MSFS world and get something real back in return. Today, we’re starting out our second month with a lot to share.

The first Hangar Drop winners

When we introduced the Monthly Hangar Drop with Carenado a couple of weeks ago, we explained the premise: every month, three active Captains are randomly selected to receive a 100% discount code for any aircraft available on the Carenado webstore. No forms, no opt-ins. Being an active Captain is all it takes.

The first draw has now taken place. Congratulations to the three lucky winners for April:

  • Rolf S.
  • Richard B.
  • Crunch

Your unique codes have been sent directly to your inbox. Head over to the Carenado webstore, pick your aircraft, and apply the code at checkout. As a reminder, these codes are valid for the Carenado direct store only and cannot be used on the MSFS Marketplace.

Didn’t win this time? You’re automatically entered into the May draw. Winners will be announced on the 1st of May in the Captain’s Scope.

April member reward: the Astro ONE from Got Friends

This month’s Got Friends reward is the Astro ONE, a custom eVTOL personal aircraft with its own flight model. It’s a fun one, and a great way to explore low-altitude scenery from a very different perspective. All active Captains can claim it via the member dashboard, where you’ll find your activation code and redemption link.

Got Friends has also just launched a completely redesigned website. It’s faster, cleaner, and mobile-optimized, and it now includes a dedicated rewards page built specifically for Captain’s Club members, which makes the monthly redemption process a lot more straightforward. Check it out!

Alongside the site relaunch, Got Friends has kicked off their Annual Spring Sale, running until April 15th, with discounts of up to 80% across their catalog. You don’t need to be a Captain to take advantage of this one, so pass it along.

Join the Captain’s Club at 25% off

To celebrate the 1-month anniversary of the Captains’ Club, we’re running a limited two-week discount on new Captain’s Club memberships. Until April 15th, new members can join at 25% off for both the monthly and annual subscription. After that, pricing returns to normal. Just use code QUARTERFLAP after selecting your plan to get the discount.

By becoming a Captain, you get automatic entry into the monthly Carenado Hangar Drop, exclusive discounts from Contrail, SayIntentions.ai, Pimax, and SimInstructor AI, a cleaner ad-lite reading experience, and access to the Captain’s Scope intel feed. If you buy just one addon a month through our partner discounts, the membership pays for itself many times over!

This offer is for new subscribers only and expires April 15th.
