Parallel 42 has released Flow Pro and Flow Essentials for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, marking the return of the developer’s popular in-sim interface system in a new, rebuilt form. The products are now available exclusively through the //42 Store.

According to the team, this version of Flow for MSFS 2024 is not a port of the earlier MSFS 2020 editions but a full redevelopment. The core concept is maintained in its entirety: an alternative user interface that replaces the default toolbar with a configurable interaction wheel.

This wheel provides quick access to commonly used functions and supports both default and third-party panels already installed in the sim.

Essentials focuses on a simpler set of tools, offering the streamlined workflow without the advanced scripting layer.

Flow Pro introduces extended functionality for advanced users, including scripting, custom widgets, and support for community-made tools. It also retains Twitch integrations and the “Otto” quick-command bar, which allows shorthand inputs to trigger specific actions.

Parallel 42 says that the new version has no measurable performance impact and continues to run entirely inside the simulator without relying on an external companion app.

Flow for MSFS 2024 is available only for Windows PC. The developers explain that the toolkit relies on system-level capabilities not present on Xbox.

Upgrade offer for existing customers
