The team at Fly2High has released their take on Tulsa International Airport (KTUL) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, covering both the 2020 and 2024 versions of the simulator. As the developer’s flagship product for 2025, this release introduces simmers to one of Oklahoma’s busiest aviation hubs, with a feature set that aims to capture the character and functionality of the real-world location.
Located about five miles (8 km) northeast of downtown Tulsa, KTUL serves as a civil-military facility and is a key gateway to the region. Originally named Tulsa Municipal Airport, it was renamed Tulsa International Airport in 1963 after the addition of international customs and immigration facilities. Today, it handles more than 3 million passengers annually, with airlines like American, Southwest, United, Delta, and Allegiant offering nonstop service to destinations across the U.S.
But Tulsa’s importance in aviation extends beyond passenger service. The airport is home to American Airlines’ largest maintenance base, where thousands of employees service aircraft from across the carrier’s fleet, including 737s, A320s, and 787s. It also hosts the 138th Fighter Wing of the Oklahoma Air National Guard, which operates F-16 Fighting Falcons from a base adjacent to the civilian terminal.
For MSFS simmers, KTUL offers a variety of flying opportunities. From short regional hops with the CRJ or Embraer jets to longer domestic routes in a 737 or A320, simmers can replicate real-world schedules operated by major U.S. carriers. General aviation pilots will also find plenty to enjoy, with KTUL’s three runways accommodating everything from Cessna 172s to business jets.
Fly2High claims to have created a highly detailed rendition of KTUL, focusing on both airside and landside areas to provide an immersive experience. Key features of this scenery include:

Of course, the scenery also captures KTUL’s layout, including its three runways: the 10,000-foot 18L/36R, the 6,100-foot 18R/36L, and the crosswind runway 8/26 at 7,376 feet.
Fly2High’s Tulsa International Airport is available now for around $18 USD. The add-on supports both MSFS 2020 and the 2024 edition.
