Got Friends has provided a new update on their latest aircraft project for Microsoft Flight Simulator: the Aeroprakt A32 Vixxen. The project was quietly announced about a month ago, but today, the team revealed the first in-game screenshots and shared more about how this unique collaboration came to life.
The A32 Vixxen has been in development for several months, with the team reporting significant progress on the 3D model, flight systems, avionics, and fuel system. With the foundation in place, development is now shifting toward full in-game implementation.
According to Got Friends, the opportunity to create the A32 Vixxen arose through a conversation with Andy Humphrey from Aeroprakt USA. While initially reaching out for reference material for a different project — a Taylorcraft BL65 and BC12D, still planned for 2025 — the team was invited to bring the A32 Vixxen into MSFS to serve as an IFR training aid for real-world students. This educational mission resonated with the developers, who describe it as a meaningful extension of Microsoft Flight Simulator’s capabilities.
The A32 Vixxen is therefore being built for both MSFS 2020 and 2024, in collaboration with Heavenbound Aviation. The first previews show detailed exterior and interior work, with materials and textures crafted by TwoSeventyInc.

- Strong backcountry potential, especially when fitted with tundra tires and mud guards
Glider community updates: AS-33Me and Discus-2c
While the A32 Vixxen represents a new chapter, Got Friends continues to show strong support for the gliding community. The team confirmed that the next major release remains the AS-33Me glider, which has been in deep development and is set to become their most advanced soaring aircraft yet.
The AS-33Me will launch natively for MSFS 2020 and 2024, featuring:
- 15-meter and 18-meter variants
- A modular dashboard with customizable gauge locations
- Advanced animations, including bug wipers, wingflex, and realistic surface wear
The Discus-2c glider will also relaunch alongside the AS-33Me, following a major overhaul that includes enhanced LX avionics, updated textures, native simulation of the Front Electric Sustainer (FES) system, and code optimizations for the latest simulator capabilities.
This dual glider release will bring Got Friends’ total to four soaring aircraft, including the Stemme S12-G and the Pipistrel Taurus M — a collection they plan to continue supporting into the next generation of flight simulation.
