Land3 Simulations has launched a new RAAS (Runway Awareness and Advisory System) solution for Microsoft Flight Simulator, called vRAAS. Designed as a seamless plug-and-play tool, vRAAS claims compatibility across all airports and aircraft types. Pilots can expect an array of auditory alerts directly within their MSFS cockpit, guiding them through runway operations just as a real-world RAAS would.
Land3 promises broad compatibility and ease of use with vRAAS. Simmers don’t need to configure aircraft or airport profiles manually; installation is straightforward—just install, load up MSFS, and fly.
Alongside the audible messages that define RAAS, vRAAS also displays alerts as text on the aircraft’s PFD or ND, a feature currently in an experimental phase. This text display is a key difference from the other RAAS add-on available, FS2Crew’s RAAS Professional.
