SamScene3D has expanded its USA Modern Cities series with the launch of Volume 3, adding to its portfolio of highly detailed cityscapes for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This new installment follows the successful releases of Volumes 1 and 2, which enhanced the virtual representation of iconic cities such as Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, among others, with increased details and realism.
USA Modern Cities Vol.3 introduces four more major U.S. cities into the simulator: Dallas, Austin, San Diego, and Houston.
Volume 3 is designed to further demonstrate the capabilities of MSFS’s USA photogrammetry, incorporating additional buildings to enrich the urban landscapes in the simulator. By redesigning city areas to accurately reflect the geographical position of objects, SamScene3D aims to bring out the best in MSFS’s built-in photogrammetry, improving textures, structures, bridges, and shores while adding back many missing buildings and features.
Main features of USA Modern Cities Vol.3:
- Over 80 handcrafted building models in each city
- Replaced default broken bridges with handcrafted bridges over the cities
- Beautiful night effects
- Most building rooftops are landable helipads
- Compatible with other developer airport addons
- It can be used with the photogrammetry turned off
USA Modern Cities Vol.3 is available now for PC and Xbox. It’s priced at $19.99 in Contrail and the MSFS Marketplace.
