Hopping between European capitals must be one of the most entertaining activities an airliner pilot can have. These are often short flights connecting two very scenic locations, and with Europe’s dense concentration of historic cities there’s no shortage of possibilities to plot your next route. One such city that is perfectly located for these kinds of flights is Prague, in the Czech Republic, whose airport has now been released in superb detail for MSFS, by the team at Tailstrike Designs!
Prague’s Václav Havel Airport (LKPR) is the main international airport in the country, serving the capital city and surrounding territories. LKPR is a major hub for Smartwings and Czech Airlines, Czechia’s flag carrier, and a base for Ryanair and Eurowings.
Tailstrike Designs proposes a visit to the historic and culturally-rich city of Prague and offers MSFS simmers an impressively-detailed rendition of Václav Havel Airport. Photorealistic textures, highly-detailed airport buildings and vehicles as well as accurate ground markings in the taxiways and runways should make for an authentic experience when visiting this airport.
The developers have also implemented a few interesting features that provide added value to the scenery. Things like support for Aerosoft’s VDGS module, the custom animated jetways, or the ultra-realistic nighttime lighting make the scenery even more immersive.
Prague Airport from Tailstrike Designs is now available through Contrail, priced at around €25. It’s a bit more than Orbx’s equally impressive rendition of this airport. Tough decision, but a good one to have!
