Aerosoft releases the SeaRey Elite Amphibian for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Aerosoft and FlightSim Studio have launched today a new amphibian aircraft for MSFS. The SeaRey Elite, announced during the summer, is out now in two affordable packages, offering simmers a Lite and a more Advanced experience with this popular American flying boat.
The SeaRey Elite belongs to the light-sport aircraft category, a sort of intermediate step between ultralights and general aviation aircraft. With a single “pusher” engine, two seats, a high wing, and large windows, the SeaRey offers great flying enjoyment to pilot and passenger, with excellent visibility to the ground below.
The aforementioned characteristics should make for an excellent aircraft to explore the stunning worldwide landscapes in MSFS. FlightSim Studio hopes MSFS simmers will accept the challenge with an affordable package, which enables users to spend just around $12 for a Lite version of the product, or $22 for a more feature-packed Advanced version.
Common between both versions is the promise of a realistic model of the SeaRey, highly detailed inside and out, that uses native MSFS technologies like icing and windshield rain effects, PBR textures, and interactive checklists.
As for the differences, the Advanced variant comes with a homebuilt experimental version of the aircraft, a custom EFB-like tablet (with features like a moving map, flight plan, weight and balance, and a cool-looking simulated and interactive walkaround), and a few additional unique bits.
The SeaRey Elite, in both its Lite and Advanced variants, is now available exclusively at the Aerosoft Store.
