Watch this preview video of the upcoming King Air Steam Gauge Overhaul for MSFS

Black Square started a very cool series with the Steam Gauge Overhaul for default Microsoft Flight Simulator airplanes. Starting with the Grand Caravan, Black Square offers simmers the opportunity to experience the excellent models of stock airplanes in MSFS with a charming analog cockpit and much more in-depth systems. This experience is now coming to the King Air 350i!

We already got a detailed preview video from Black Square themselves, and now it’s time for content creators to share their own experience with an early build of the aircraft. A release seems imminent as a series of first-look videos starts showing up on our feeds, showcasing the impressive Black Square classic adaptation of the iconic King Air in MSFS.

Our friend TwoToneMurphy had the chance to try the Analog King Air ahead of the release and, of course, shared his impressions with the world. In the video, which you can watch below, Murph shows us the many improvements brought to the King Air in this Black Square mod, starting with animated elements like windows and sun visor, the interactive checklists, the realistic start-up procedures, the fully-simulated electrical system, and more!

Murph also previews the wide variety of navigation equipment that users will be able to configure in the King Air. These include options like GTN 750 from TDS and PMS50 and a comprehensive selection of Collins, Bendix, and Garmin avionics. It’s a hugely-customizable panel that users will be able to set up as they see fit.

Everything works in this cockpit, effectively turning the King Air 350 into a totally new machine. Now, at an expected price of $38.99/€33.95, the Analog King Air won’t be cheap… but then again, how much would you pay for a study-level King Air? That’s really what we’re talking about here, by all accounts!

Black Square should put this project out very soon, so stay tuned for that over the next few days/weeks. Until then, watch TwoToneMurphy’s video to get a clear idea of what to expect and how much more engaging flying this aircraft will be with this mod.

Also, make sure to read all the details about the product on the official Just Flight product page, which is also where you’ll be able to purchase the package once it becomes available.
